This was the cutest new home engagement session ever! Grace and Jordan were fire! These two were just adorable and their chemistry and undeniable connection shine through these photos. Grace reached out to me with her idea. She wanted to capture this monumental time in their lives of celebrating their engagement and new home they were building together. I was ecstatic to bring her idea to life.
Their new downtown pad had all the vibes and will definitely be a rad spot when its done. It was so cool being welcomed into their space and seeing their vision. Excitement and giddiness beamed from them as they gave me the tour. Their love language was electric and I couldn’t wait to start capturing them.
As we started in the back, I asked them to be themselves. I always like to begin with a couple walking around to loosen up and get more comfortable. There are no rules for a photo session. I love it when couple’s begin to forget I am there and embrace their silly perfect selves. I couldn’t believe this was their first time behind a camera. Getting comfortable was natural and easy for them. Popping champaign is never a bad idea either!
After, we moved to the front ivy of the house. Their outfit change gave us more movement for play. I just loved hearing about the future they were planning and the story of how they met. They were making me melt! They were so into each other and shared many of the sentimental joys to their relationship. Grace could remember everything!
Later, we went back inside and they had a third outfit change. This part of the session was definitely my favorite. We started with the two cutouts in the walls. Grace explained how this was their Valentine’s Day gift to each other. How adorbs! They then explored each room again, reveling in their joy for how it would be when it was done.
I couldn’t wait to go in front of their garage door. So much natural light flooded in dousing them into a beautiful silhouette. They brought confetti poppers, which were a blast! We then opened the door to let more light in and they danced away to their favorite song. Grace and Jordan were so natural and obviously so in love. They were making me misty eyed!
It is always such an honor and a pleasure to be let into my couple’s lives. Such intimate special moments are to be treasured. This was the cutest new home engagement session! Grace and Jordan, I am so unbelievably happy for you! Wishing you a lifetime of happiness! Congrats on your engagement and beautiful new home.
