Layla and Kyle’s Iceland waterfall elopement was unforgettable. Iceland’s beauty is wild, untouched, and full of surprises—everywhere we drove, waterfalls seemed to pour out of nowhere. Chasing waterfalls was the perfect way to spend their day.

We kicked off the morning in a quiet canyon with a hidden hot spring. On the way, we grabbed coffee and pastries at a local bakery—a must-stop for any adventure. After a short hike in, we were surrounded by incredible views and a sleeping volcano nearby.

By a small stream, Layla and Kyle wandered along the water, climbed on rocks, and shared a few playful moments. Once we’d soaked in the magic of the canyon, it was time for the next stop: the famous Skógafoss.

Skógafoss is a famous waterfall on the Southern peninsula of Iceland. This is a very popular area, so timing your visit is really important to avoid the crowds. Layla and Kyle were blown away as we walked up to the falls. Of course it was time to run around, dance, twirl and take it all in! The mist added another fun element to such a cool experience. The power and energy emitting from the falls was incredible!

After enjoying Skógafoss, we ventured to another waterfall nearby. This one was away from the crowds, tucked into another stunning canyon. Layla and Kyle decided to share their private vows and exchange rings here. It was a fairytale moment.

Layla and Kyle’s Iceland waterfall elopement made for an epic experience. After hiking and exploring all day, these two were up for more adventure! We headed to Reynisfjara, the world-famous black-sand beach on the South Coast of Iceland. It was time to get all cozy and take in the long summer sunset of Iceland. It did not disappoint.
