Eloping in Yosemite in the Fall with the Yosemite Chapel as your backdrop is a magical experience. C+D knew they wanted a quite intimate day celebrating their love. Yosemite is a special place they had visited throughout their relationship and it only felt right to exchange their vows there. Both had memories of coming with their families and exploring the valley floor. While the waterfalls had dried up for the season, the meadows stunned in their golden beauty and C+D had so much fun taking them all in. C+D had a blast celebrating their Yosemite Chapel Elopement.

Eloping in the Fall and on a weekday during sunrise and sunset will offer the most privacy for your Yosemite wedding celebration.

After adventuring around the Superintendent Bridge and Cook’s meadow, these two found the perfect spot for their private vow exchange. The Yosemite Chapel stood tall behind them. The magical hazy sunset phenomenon of soft light danced off the rock faces. It was truly incredible to see and it makes for dewiest imagery.

After C+D exchanged their vows in the meadow, they headed to the Chapel to celebrate! While, they chose not to rent out the space for their ceremony, they still wanted to incorporate the historic building into their story. We had a blast as they ran down the steps cheering!

The Yosemite Chapel is a classic historic staple in the park. If you are interested in celebrating your love story at the chapel here is a link for more information and pricing. They will not be holding wedding ceremonies after 2025. This may change seasonally. However, it is still an iconic place to visit and add to your experience while eloping in Yosemite.
